Every blogger made the decision to start their blog. What we wanted to know was how they decided what would be their first post – and to reflect on something that has been hidden in their archives ever since. Sharking for Chips & Drinks are running the feature ‘Back to the Start’ over the next few weeks where we will introduce you to bloggers from Melbourne, Australia and much further afield. Growing up with technology and being a self confessed geek, I’ve always designed websites and blogged for fun.
For years, I blogged via the Xanga network and joined a community of fellow Melbournian Xangans sharing our personal lives.
One day I decided to purchase my own domain and develop my web portfolio. However, I did not make use of the domain until many months later,. Then in August 2011, I decided to install WordPress and start my very first public blog documenting my adventure in eating. It was originally a gaming and food blog, but I later became addicted in taking photos of food.
I’ve always had people asking where the name Peach-Water came from. The name comes from many years back where I was obsessed with the lightly sweetened and peach flavoured water.

Foodie Partner: KatherineI’ve been to Three Bags Full three times (including this time), and every time I go there, it’s always packed! Regardless of how packed the place is the service is always great.Why I keep going back? Love the atmosphere and the cafe food they have there. Plus their cake cabinet is always filled with yummy goodies.
Just a note, that one occasion they only accepted cash only, but other two times they’ve accepted Eftpos. I think this was due to them being super busy!Bare in mind that there is always a waiting line!Upon arrival, we were asked whether we wanted any drinks. My first choice of drinks when going to cafes are usually Hot Chocolate or Soy Latte.
That day I felt like a hot chocolate, and it wasn’t a bad choice. The Hot Chocolate at Three Bags Full is rich and creamy in chocolate taste.

– Eggs On Toast: Atlantic: Smoked Salmon, Poached Egg and Hollandaise Sauce on Bread
After sipping and chatting, our food arrived! The whole time we were eyeing neighbouring table’s food, and they all looked good!
Katherine ordered the Black Angus Steak Sandwhich. She gave me a bit to try. Now I’m not a fan of beetroot, but the beetroot relish together with the bread, bacon and porterhouse steak made it really good!
I went for the Atlantic. One that knows me well, would know that I’m a fan of eggs, especially poached eggs. I also love my salmon, so Atlantic was probably the best choice for me. It was perfect. The best part of eating this? Cutting the poached eggs watching the yolk ooze out! YUM!

Both cakes were to die for!
The Flourless Chocolate cupcake is moist and just the right amount of sweetness! Could eat so many of these.
The Chocolate Cheesecake Brownie was perfect. The cheese blended in well with the chocolate. It’s a match make in heaven! Plus the biscuit base of the brownie took the brownie to the next level! Perfect.
